Found fabric, old woodcut stamps, string and yarn was collected in her meeting with various artists around Lyon, traditional artisans, second hand flea markets and silk manufacturing company (HTH/Bucol).

The final masterpiece of this creation is a woman made of Amidon starch, silk, wool, colored thread ; there is a subtile linkage to the Silk Road that existed before, that connected the Vietnamese raw silk to the one of Lyon.

The installation could be seen as a representation of a historical metamorphosis in textile trade and production, from hand printed woodcuts to the now ubiquitos machine injekt printing machines, from the grueling hand to the effortless machinal operations. Set somewhere between the human and abstracts forms, a metaphor of light and space probide insight into what we are able to see, and how our surroundings can be effected by even those things we can’t.
